“The creative act is a letting down of the net of human imagination into the ocean of chaos on which we are suspended, and the attempt to bring out of it ideas. It is the night sea journey, the lone fisherman on a tropical sea with his nets, and you let these nets down - sometimes, something tears through them that leaves them in shreds and you just row for shore, and put your head under your bed and pray. At other times what slips through are the minutiae, the minnows of this ichthyological metaphor of idea chasing. But, sometimes, you can actually bring home something that is food, food for the human community that we can sustain ourselves on and go forward.” ― Terence McKenna “We have to create culture, don't watch TV, don't read magazines, don't even listen to NPR. Create your own roadshow. The nexus of space and time where you are now is the most immediate sector of your universe, and if you're worrying about Michael Jackson or Bill Clinton or somebody else, then you are disempowered, you're giving it all away to icons, icons which are maintained by an electronic media so that you want to dress like X or have lips like Y. This is shit-brained, this kind of thinking. That is all cultural diversion, and what is real is you and your friends and your associations, your highs, your orgasms, your hopes, your plans, your fears. And we are told 'no', we're unimportant, we're peripheral. 'Get a degree, get a job, get a this, get a that.' And then you're a player, you don't want to even play in that game. You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that's being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.” ― Terence McKenna “Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behaviour and information processing. They open you up to the possibility that everything you know is wrong.” ― Terence McKenna “Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering it's a feather bed.” ― Terence McKenna "The only way to write honestly about the scene is to be part of it. If there is one quick truism about psychedelic drugs, it is that anyone who tries to write about them without first-experience is a fool and a fraud." ― Hunter S. Thompson (1967)

*___* So viele Tage...

Was habe ich schon vorzuweisen? We have been hung out to dry We are the drunken, we are the high We despise this human race Look in our eyes and see your disgrace

"This is the point of no return nigga you better believe this Mary Magdalen giving birth to the children of Jesus The evolution of the world, bloody and dramatic Human beings killing monkeys to conquer the planet The kingdoms of Africa and Mesopotamia Machine gunnin' your body with depleted uranium This is the age of micro chips and titanium The dark side of the moon and contact with aliens I started out like Australians, criminal minded Broke into hell, tore it down, and built a city behind it SouthPaw, murderous, methodology nigga Remember that I'm just a man don't follow me nigga Cause once you past the point you can never go home You've got to face the possibility of dying alone So tell me motherfucker, how could you die for the throne? When you don't even got the fuckin' heart to die for your own It rains acid, one day the earth will cry from a stone And you'll be lookin' at the world livin' inside of a dome Computerized humanity living inside of a clone This is the place where the unknown is living and real Wormwood the planet X and the seventh seal Universal truth is not measure in mass appeal This is the last time that I kneel and pray to the sky Cause almost everything that I was always ever told was a lie" "The only way to write honestly about the scene is to be part of it. -------------------------------------------- Dschelal ed-Din Rumi (1207 - 1273) "Man muss die Menschen bei ihrer Geburt beweinen, nicht nach ihrem Tode" Montesquieu (1689-1755) ______________________________________________________________ I never asked for this

"According to Jainism, virtue can never be gained by killing creatures, just as one cannot cross the ocean by sitting on a stone, for definitely he will be drowned. That scripture which teaches mercy is a true scripture for a Jaina." VALLI, Kauśalyā (1974): The conception of Ahiṁsā in Indian thought. According to Sanskrit Sources. Varanasi: Bharata Manisha. Für den "offensiven" Umgang mit dem Thema Vergänglichkeit das Gedicht vom Schädel im Gras (G.K. Chesterton): Chattering flinch and waterfly are not merrier than I. Here amongst the flowers I lie laughing everlastingly. No, I may not tell the best, Suerely, friends, I might have guessed Death was but the good king's jest - It was hid so carefully. Oder der gute Bill (The Tempest): Our revels now are ended. These our actors As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air. And like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capped towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. Und zum Abschluss: Those lovely lips which you so delight to kiss today, will in a few years rot and disclose into the grinning teeth of a skull.

Ich hab mich vorgestern auch mal literarisch versucht: The barbershop fear I never liked going to the barber. In fact, I hated it. I had the stupidest haircuts because of this habit, this disorder. It's not because I feared loosing my hair, it's the smalltalk I hate. Why would you talk to me, barber? Why would you make me speak? Why would you discuss the weather? It's nothing you could change by talking about it. So, why don't you let me mind my own business and proceed to go after yours? Sometimes I picture the barber as my executioner who will cut my throat after he cut my hair.
